Tree Care
Before rockin' around your tree
Before You Bring It Inside
-
If possible, keep your tree in a cool, shaded area until you’re ready to set it up.
-
Place the trunk in a bucket of water to help it stay hydrated.
Make a Fresh Cut
-
Before placing your tree in the stand, cut about ½ inch off the bottom of the trunk.
-
This opens the tree’s pores so it can drink water again.
Water Matters Most
-
Fill your tree stand with plenty of fresh water immediately after setup.
-
Check the water level daily — fresh trees can drink a surprising amount, especially during the first few days.
-
Never let the water level fall below the base of the trunk.
Keep it Cool
-
Place your tree away from fireplaces, heat vents, radiators, and direct sunlight.
-
Cooler rooms help your tree stay fresh longer.
Skip the Additives
