King Bedroom
The home is full of windows and natural light streaming in during the day and equipped with room darkening shades in the bedrooms for restful sleep. The King bedroom has access to the back porch, the bathroom suite with shower, separate vanities and the home restored claw foot tub.
Twin Bedroom
As a family heirloom, this beautifully renovated home is immaculate and meticulously maintained. The twin bedroom sits just off the second bath and the dining area.
Bathrooms
Keeping with the original charm of the home was important. We hand sanded these wide plank floors to maintain character. The home features 2 full bathrooms with unique pieces, from the home's restored claw-foot tub in the main bathroom, to the quarter-sawn oak dresser that has been transitioned to a vanity and sink in the second bath.
The Kitchen
We added all the modern conveniences, maximized living space with an open floor plan and furnished with all new stainless-steel appliances. The full kitchen also includes vintage Pyrex, a coffee maker, toaster, 8 place settings, utensils, pots and pans, storage containers, coffee mugs, and more.
The house sits on seven quiet, peaceful acres with a back-porch view of our Christmas tree grove and vegetable garden - the Garden & Grove. It is easily accessible from I-85 (less than 5 miles) and located 25 minutes from Athens, 50 minutes from Atlanta and within an hour drive of 9 beautiful Georgia state parks! There are many local excursions and boutique shopping in Jefferson, less than 3 minutes away.
